Go Big or Gourd Home: Our Pumpkin Carving Competition

Updated: Nov 19, 2019

No spooky season is truly complete without some good old fashioned pumpkin carving, and our Western Foodies brought their A-game!

On Monday, October 28th, Western Foodies hosted our annual pumpkin carving contest, and we were blown away by both the turnout and talent on display from our members. Nearly 30 members put their skills to the test carving the best jack-o-lantern designs they could in just an hour and a half. All of the designs we saw were scary creative and we’d like to take a minute to congratulate all members for their amazing abilities they put on display.

Special congratulations to all of our podium finishers who secured their bubble tea coupons for their phenomenal efforts! Pictured below are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place pumpkins in front of their respective carving artists. While these pumpkins were the ultimate victors, we hope everyone in attendance had a great time and enjoyed the free pie as a reward for their hard work!

Pictured from left to right: Shrek, a monster from Dungeons and Dragons, and a spooky monster! Congrats again to our winners!

We hope all of our foodies had a happy Halloween and that they are currently having a relaxing reading week.
