Garlic Shrimp Udon Noodles: Quarantine Cooking Series

Hi Foodies,


We hope everyone is staying safe during these uncertain times. With quarantine in full swing, we figured we could share some quick and easy recipes we were going to feature as part of our cookbook that you can easily make at home.


This Asian-inspired garlic shrimp noodle will have your mouth watering. With this recipe, you will be kissing goodbye to your weekly takeout orders.

Cook time: 15 minutes

Ingredients: - Frozen udon noodles (can be easily found in any grocery store) - 1 teaspoon of sesame oil - Sliced cabbage - Diced clove of garlic - Shrimp/prawns - Green onions - Soy sauce - Oyster sauce - Pinch of salt - Pinch of sugar

Steps: 1. Bring water to a boil and cook one packet of frozen udon until noodles are separated. 2. Drain and place udon into a bowl mixing it with one tablespoon with sesame oil 3. In a pan add oil and cabbage and a pinch of salt and a dash of soy sauce 4. Add in diced garlic and shrimp and stir until shrimp is cooked 5. Add noodles and stir for about 1.5 minutes adding more soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar to taste 6. Add green onion and stir!
